NZ NEWS: CHEAPSKATES ANTIONALS POSTPONED UNTIL 26th and 27th OCTOBER

NZ SKATEBOARDING NATIONALS – DATE CHANGE.
Cheapskates wishes to announce the postponement of the NZ Skateboarding Nationals to the later part of 2013.

This is due to the difficulty in gaining sponsorship investment from key backers as the event falls at the end of their financial year and most of the sponsors budgets have already been spent.

We intend on holding the event during labour weekend (26th & 27th) of October 2013 and this will be a truly epic national skateboarding event at the renowned Washington Skate Park in Christchurch.

The postponement of this event to later in the year means this will now also allow for regional skateboarding competitions across the country to be held inside the same calendar year, enabling pre-qualification for top riders to the 2013 NZ Skateboarding Nationals.

On the flipside, we are stoked to present the South Islands biggest bowl skating competition, The Cheapskates Thomson Bowl Jam is still set to take place on Saturday 23rd March with over $3K worth of prizes.
